[QUOTE="Remote95, post: 135100, member: 24733"] Update 4/30 : Thanks to all for ideas and insight. I apologize as this machine is new to me with No History known, so Im going to try to give the following update. 1. We had to remove the starter and have the solenoid replaced. This seemed to solve the issue and was not a fuse. 2. We Removed the EGR/ Cooler and blocked off the holes in the block with plates. We also looped the hoses comng to it. In other words if it was an egr/cooler issue we eliminated the possibiltiy. 3. We filled the motor with diesel instead of OIl and cranked for 2 minites, shut off and drained diesel. we repeated the process and only ran for 1 1/2 minites. Drained again. We did a third diesel drop with 1 minite running time. After each drain we allowed the drain plug to stay out like 24 hours. 4. We filled with Oil to the minimun on the stick and replaced the Oil filter. we also refilled the radiater with plainn water to the very top of the neck. We then cranked the machine and let idle for extended time all the while continousely checking both the OIl level and color and also the water level in the radiater. The oil color is OK and No water is leaving the radiator as the neck level stays the same with no Bubbling. In conclusion, thanks to all for insight and help, we will work the machine to bring up to temp, Drop the OIl again and replace oil and filter, also replace plain water with coolant and cross our fingers but feel we finally have turned the corner on this machine?
